Welcome to the home page of the Hungarian Canadian Club of Waterloo-Wellington!

It’s been over fifty years that the Hungarian Canadian Club of Waterloo-Wellington also known as Kossuth Hall was established. The Canadian Club serves as the center of the Hungarian community in the Cambridge-Guelph-Kitchener-Waterloo area and offers programs and events with a Hungarian flavour.

The Kossuth Hall is site of our historical commemorations, seasonal balls featuring Hungarian cuisine, and theatrical and musical productions that frequently feature guest performers from Hungary. Preserving cultural traditions, such as sausage making in wintertime or decorating Easter eggs in springtime, is an important goal amongst members. The aim of these events is to introduce Hungarian culture to the future generations who were raised or born here.

The Hungarian Hall is also home to the Kossuth Folkdance Ensemble and is site of the programs of the Hungarian Schools of Guelph and Kitchener. The Kossuth Ensemble offers dance instruction for both adults and children twice a week furthermore the Kossuth Hall also hosts table tennis classes three times a week organised by our other partner D. R. Table Tennis Academy.

You don't need to be a member to enjoy our programs but we welcome new members and volunteers who share our goals.  Browse the pages of this new website to find out more about our society. Check out the Upcoming events or enjoy our Photo Gallery of past activities.  Come back to our website regularly to see what's on!

We hope to see you at our next event!
